I am writing to ask your views on our draft Statement of Community Involvement in Planning (SCI). The SCI sets out our vision and strategy for involving people in the planning system when it matters - be it helping to prepare citywide planning documents, or having a say on planning applications in your local neighbourhood.
The draft SCI is available on our website at http://www.portsmouth.gov.uk/living/25280.html, at the reception area of the Civic Offices and at all of the city’s libraries. Alternatively, if you call us we would be happy to post a copy to you. As part of your feedback, we would be grateful if you could tell us:
- how you like to be consulted
- whether you disagree with us using any particular consultation methods and why this is
- whether there are any consultation methods which we have missed
- any other comments you would like to make
