Following the recent local elections Portsmouth City Council is now made up of 26 Libral Democrat, 12 Conservative and 4 Labour councillors. Each of the 14 wards across the city has 3 representatives who are elected for a 4 year term.
The role of your local councillor is to represent the needs of your ward to Portsmouth City Council and other organisations. Councillors have a duty to all their constituents, including those who did not vote for them.
