Personal Choice is a charity which provides a free,
Portsmouth based, independent, information and advice service to the elderly,
their relatives and/or carers.
Their mission is to improve the independence and
well being of elderly people in Portsmouth.
This year Personal Choice is being given a boost and they are trying to help as many people as possible and form good relationships with
other charities in the city.
Personal Choice have opened their advice centre at the Oasis Centre
Reception in the city centre and also are putting on coffee mornings at Oasis.
They mainly help to fill out Attendance Allowance and Disability Living Allowance forms but can also help in many other ways. Their plans for the
future are to organise events, seminars, educational classes and trips.
