Three of Portsmouth’s
parks and open spaces have been recognised by a Green Flag Award this year.
These are Hilsea Lines,
Baffins Pond and Milton Park.
Hilsea Lines first won the
award in 2010, Baffins Pond won in 2011 and Milton Park has won its award for
the first time this year.
Green Flag Awards
recognise well-managed, high-quality green spaces.
This success is testament
to the efforts of the contractors, friends groups, volunteers and parks
department staff who have contributed to the bids and have now been recognised
by these prestigious awards.
